Toru Otani: "The red plasterboard piece (Moon) is the first piece made of plasterboard. Since it is a construction material, the logo, model number, and description of the product are printed on it, just like sandpaper. The area around them is filled in with colored pencils. The dots and chipped areas that look like splashes were originally there because this was a scrap piece of wood, and I have painted around them as well. The title "Tsuki" is derived from the kanji character for moon, which was left unpainted."
