This series of works, titled ‘The Metal Having the Length’, makes use of elements based on values derived from the size of the artist’s body. These measurements were made using a method developed by the anthropologist Rudolf Martin. According to Martin, such values could be used to reproduce the human body. The standard system of physical measurement, based on height, seated height, and chest girth, was also derived from Martin’s method.
